  1. First heat a pan, add oil. Once oil is hot saute peanuts, red chillis, green chillis, cumin seeds and garlic evenly.
  2. Add tamarind and switch off the stove. Let it cool down.
  3. Now add roasted chana dal and salt to mixer grinder with this peanuts and grind to a smooth paste by adding water slowly.
  4. Remove to a serving bowl and and put tempering. (i havent put tempering) Serve with hot idly.
